日本の代表的な伝統工芸品のひとつである“こけし”をモチーフに現代的な価値観を掛け合わせることで
優しく愛らしいかたちの小物入れが出来ました。
古くから変わることのないシンプルで愛らしいかたちは、装飾がなくとも十分に表情を持ち
そこにフレキシブルな小物入れとしての機能を加えることで
子供の玩具から大人の翫賞物として作り続けられてきた“こけし”に新たな価値が生まれました。

A gentle, beautifully shaped pouch has been created by combining the traditional Japanese craftwork of kokeshi dolls,
which were used as a motif, with modern concepts of value. 
The simple and lovely shape of kokeshi dolls, which has remained the same throughout the ages,
shows expression without decoration. By adding a flexible pouch to kokeshi dolls,
which have long been made not just as children’s toys but as objects that can be
appreciated by adults, a new value is created.
